Safina is a small holiday resort with 6 cottages and 3 apartments on the south coast of Kenya – not far from the award-winning, endless white sandy beach of Diani Beach. The ideal holiday paradise for self-catering travelers.
Our small holiday paradise is situated on 4,000 m² in the heart of Diani Beach, nestled amidst the tropical beauty of the Kenyan coast in a pleasant and tranquil setting. The complex comprises six bungalows, each with two bedrooms; three apartments; and a 14 x 7 meter swimming pool. This makes it the ideal retreat for couples, families, and small groups alike. Surrounded by lush vegetation and just minutes from the sea, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere far removed from mass tourism. The Baharini Plaza, a shopping complex with a large supermarket, various restaurants and bars, banks, safari agencies, several boutiques, a pharmacy, and a doctor’s office, is just a short walk away (approx. 400 m). The stunning, kilometer-long white sandy beach is only about 650 m away.
All in all, the perfect location for guests who like to spend their holidays individually and away from all-inclusive hotel facilities.

A wonderful place for a holiday. It’s a small, fenced-off complex near the ocean, with food stalls and a shop nearby. The complex is well looked after and the staff are lovely. On the first day, the owner herself welcomed us and checked us in before 2 pm. The cottage has everything you need and the kitchen is well equipped. I’d just add a container for salt and sugar. The beds are very comfortable and fitted with mosquito nets. There’s hot water everywhere. There’s also a lovely swimming pool with clean water. The place is cleaned daily, which includes making the beds, and they’re constantly sweeping up leaves and grass outside to keep insects at bay. We certainly didn’t lack for anything here; we felt very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
